The filmmakers used what was already available to them
Story
After being resurrected by a sinister entity, Art the Clown returns to the small town of Miles County to target a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night. Scenes filmed in the movie “Terrifier”; haunted house were filmed in a real haunted house called the Fright Factory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Art’s favorite acid is fluoroantimonic acid, which he keeps in a clear glass bottle. It is a super acid capable of dissolving even glass.
Art the Clown:
A central scene takes place in a mental hospital with Chris Jericho as security guard Alan Burke and Leah Voysey as a nurse. .. The German DVD and Blu-ray releases from Tiberius Film are shortened by approx. three minutes to secure the “Not Under 18” title; rating (this was necessary because the guidelines for video releases are stricter than for theatrical releases).
Adapted from Terrifier (2016)
Basically every violent scene was edited to tone down the violence. Nameless Media’s 4K Ultra-HD Blu-ray Mediabook releases are completely uncut and have received a moderate SPIO/JK approval. The Equalizer (Not Alone) Written by Tim McEwan and Tyler Lyle (as Jamison Tyler Lyle) Performed by The MidnightCourtesy of BMG Platinum Songs U.S. (BMI).
Writing takes work, and lots of it
A bloody mess and a decent story, if you like slasher horror this is the way to go. Adult authority figures are irrational and overreact, while children don’t blink an eye, it’s embarrassing and unrealistic. The dialogue of the secondary characters is also awkward and didn’t seem to gain much attention after the first draft. The art is callous and insidious, showing more personality this time around and gradually becoming a horror icon as the dumbest killer who clearly enjoys what he’s doing.
This movie is fun to watch, faults aside, and I’m looking forward to Terrifier 3
The gory effects are great, and hopefully with the success of Terrifier 2, the third one will bring a bigger budget for better actors and writers.
